How does pausing orders work?

In the WMS, you can easily pause your orders and pick lists. This feature is designed to give you more flexibility and control over your orders, especially when unexpected issues arise.

For example, if you encounter an incorrect customer address or a customer request to modify the order, you can simply pause the order. This temporarily sets the order and its associated pick lists aside and displays them in the "Paused" tab for clarity and overview.

Pausing orders in the WMS also offers benefits such as:

• When you pause an order, the associated pick lists are also paused.

• Orders can be easily resumed and processed further via the fulfillment portal.

We can also pause a pick list if we cannot find a product from the order or if the shipment cannot be created due to missing or incorrect address information. This way, we can print an internal label with the reason as a note with just one click.

What are the differences between pausing and snoozing?

It is important to note that there is a difference between “pausing” and “snoozing.” "Snoozing" is intended for pick lists that we want to process later and for which we already know when that will be, while "pausing" is intended for problem cases that cannot or should not yet be processed.

The fulfillment portal gives you the flexibility to manage your orders in a way that best fits your workflow.
