Retail fulfillment

Fulfillment for every business customer.

Retail fulfillment is a type of fulfillment that we classify under multichannel fulfillment, alongside the fulfillment of consumer orders. Retail fulfillment has various practical applications and is also commonly known as B2B fulfillment.

With this type of fulfillment, the average order frequency is often lower than for consumer orders, but the order size is typically larger. Orders are usually picked in larger, specially designated units, and there are often specific instructions regarding packaging and shipping methods.

Quality and Quantity Inspection upon Receipt

  • x

    Storage & Inventory Management

    Storing, processing, and recording inventory

  • x

    Order picking, packing, and shipping

    Packaging & shipping ordered products

  • x

    Return Processing

Processing and evaluating the return flow

The different types of Retail Fulfillment

Deliveries to dealers - retail chain.

These are deliveries to distribution centers that supply retailers and operate under a fixed retail model (franchising) , or they are deliveries intended directly for the retailers. We can process these orders at both the package and pallet levels.

The different types of Retail Fulfillment

Deliveries to individual retailers.

You may work with a select number of retailers under a shop-in-shop model. In such cases, the delivery criteria are often less strict, and deliveries can be made directly to the retailers. VASCO can also handle such deliveries, regardless of the order size or composition.

Deliveries to marketplaces:

These are deliveries to the distribution centers of companies that operate a marketplace model. Examples include Amazon, Etos, Albert Heijn, Kruidvat, Zalando, Mediamarkt, Bol.com, Coolblue, etc.

These companies purchase (part of) your product range and offer it online and/or through their physical stores. Alternatively, they may not purchase the products themselves, in which case you benefit from the marketplace’s brand recognition and the marketplace handles fulfillment in-house. These companies typically enforce strict delivery policies regarding the characteristics and identification of the incoming goods. VASCO is familiar with these guidelines.

Do you work with a marketplace that isn’t listed above? If so, we’d be happy to discuss the options for fulfilling those orders as well.
