Multiple sales channels? Multichannel fulfillment!
Multichannel fulfillment allows you to serve both your business and retail customers from a single central inventory location. This combination is also known as B2C fulfillment and B2B fulfillment.

Multi-channel fulfillment
The different types of multichannel fulfillment.
In addition to a combination of B2C and B2B fulfillment, multichannel fulfillment also takes other forms. For example, you may handle exclusively consumer orders and serve those consumers through various online sales channels. This includes, for instance, products you offer through your own online store, as well as on marketplaces such as Bol.com and Amazon.com.
The multichannel solutions we offer are also tailored to different types of e-commerce businesses: pure players and e-tailers.

Multichannel fulfillment for pure players:
You’re considered a pure player if you sell exclusively online, without any physical retail locations. With this sales strategy, you can offer your products through various channels—for example, through your own online store in combination with various marketplaces.
Examples of this include:
- An online store combined with Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA): we prepare shipments to FBA fulfillment centers in accordance with the guidelines and delivery instructions, and ship them to the various FBA locations using a dedicated carrier;
- Your own online store combined with Selling Through Bol (VVB): we ensure that your Bol orders are processed before the daily cutoff and handed over to our delivery partners on time, so that you can meet your delivery promise and avoid receiving strikes;
- Your own online store combined with Zalando fulfillment: we prepare shipments to Zalando’s fulfillment centers in accordance with their guidelines and delivery instructions, and ship them to the various Zalando locations via a dedicated carrier.
This is just a small selection of the marketplaces we can supply. Marketplaces are gaining significant traction, so do you see growth potential here? If so, please discuss the possibilities with us.
How does multichannel fulfillment work?
Fulfillment is a single, comprehensive process that involves various sub-activities. Essentially, we distinguish between the following activities, which make up our fulfillment service:
Receipt of goods from suppliers
Quality and Quantity Inspection upon Receipt

Storage & Inventory Management
Storing, processing, and recording inventory

Order picking, packing, and shipping
Packaging & shipping ordered products

Return Processing
Processing and evaluating the return flow

Multi-channel fulfillment
All your inventory under one roof!
The great thing about entrusting your multichannel fulfillment to a single fulfillment partner is that you maintain an overview of your various order flows, don’t have to maintain inventory at multiple locations, and have a single point of contact for any questions regarding your fulfillment needs.
It also makes the transition to omnichannel much more accessible. This approach to customer service requires close collaboration between the fulfillment provider, retailers, suppliers (wholesalers), and manufacturers—and we’d love to discuss these partnership models with you!

Multichannel fulfillment for e-tailers
You’re considered an e-tailer if you sell both online and in physical stores. This can take the form of a combination of running your own online store, using marketplaces, operating your own flagship store, and partnering with retail chains that carry your products. With this sales strategy, you ensure good product availability for both online and offline customers.
Examples of this include:
- Your own online store in combination with a retail chain such as Etos, Kruidvat, Albert Heijn, etc. We ensure that shipments to your retail partners are delivered in accordance with the agreed delivery instructions. Important instructions for such retail chains often include the packaging method, shipment identification, and the time of delivery (time slots). For these shipments, we also use a dedicated carrier that specializes in such deliveries;
- An online store of your own, combined with a flagship store and several smaller retail partners (not chains): we’ll work with you to determine how you’d like orders for your physical store to be delivered. We’ll also establish arrangements regarding how and how often your retail partners should be supplied.
